I had my first (official) sushi experience last weekend. It was pretty delicious. I had a couple of rolls… One hamachi’s heaven role which was my favorite… It was meat wrapped in more meat. I had a colonial roll… pretty decent. Then I also has some spicy tuna. All pretty tasty. Here is a pic of all my food plus a little extra.

I also got a new phone and I thought I would try out blogging from it.

(I am only putting one thumb up because I am holding the CD case with the other (hand).  It gets two thumbs, but for the sake of the picture only one is pictured.)

Halloween is coming up pretty soon.  So I have been thinking about what I am going to go as.  I have not decided on anything yet, but so far this is winning.

For the last couple of weeks now I have had a lot going with school, work, and other activities.  I am having fun doing it all too!  
I started my classes for Fall two weeks ago.  With my classes I have had to start some new habits and the big one for me is waking up early everyday (I love to sleep in).  I have heard it takes 30 days to get a habit started (I guess I am halfway there).  I don’t really have anything out of the ordinary going on in my morning routine.  I just get up, shower, and go (get dressed of course).  I don’t really do the coffee or energy drink thing (in the morning), but I think it would be helpful to have something that would make me more active in the morning.  Thinking about trying some new things pretty soon and see how they work.  I will let you know how it works out.

I am about to start my semester and I am ready?
I am somewhat excited about my upcoming semester.  Many of my classes that I am taking are directly related to my major.  I will have to start some new habits though (not necessarily bad habits).  I have a class on monday, wednesday, and fridays that begins at 8:00am.  Those of you that know me know that 8am is a little bit early for me.  Waking up and actually getting up will be something I am working on.  Maybe a morning routine that will help me be awake (any suggestions?).  I will let you know how all of that works out.

I am excited about the Fantasy Football season beginning really soon (and NFL season).  Go Turkish Delight!  Go Cowboys!

Next Tuesday we will have our first Awaken on Tuesdays.
Awaken has moved to Tuesday nights and we are very excited about doing some new things
Worship starts at 8:00pm.  Come as early as 7:00pm.
Kyle Howton is going to be bringing the message in a series on Community the first several weeks.

Whale wars.  Our fun has now come to an end with our pool whale.
Nobody expected this product to last so long and provide that much fun.  You can get the pool inflatable orca here.
